Point Grey Research, a producer of advanced digital camera systems, has announced the appointment of Voltrium Systems as its sole distributor in Singapore and Malaysia.

With a headquarters in Singapore, Voltrium Systems will market, sell and support all Point Grey products in Singapore and Malaysia, including Point Grey's line of IEEE-1394 (FireWire) cameras and accessories. The local distributor presence will allow efficient sales channels, faster response times, and first-hand technical support.

'South East Asia represents a rapidly growing market for Point Grey,' says Vladimir Tucakov, director at Point Grey Research. 'We believe that Voltrium will be able to provide technical support and local know-how, and address any issues that customers may have, quicker than we would from our Vancouver office.'

With immediate effect, Voltrium Systems, managed by Kenny Goh, will be the first point of contact and handle all product inquiries, orders and technical support for Point Grey's customers in Singapore and Malaysia.
