Stemmer Imaging to distribute rebranded Prosilica cameras

Following Allied Vision Technologies' (AVT) rebranding of the Prosilica range with the establishment of Prosilica as a camera series name, the AVT range of Prosilica GigE cameras will be exclusively distributed by Stemmer Imaging.

AVT acquired Canadian GigE camera manufacturer Prosilica in the middle of 2008. Prosilica was one of the first camera manufacturers on the international market to offer a broad range of GigE cameras with different sensors after the GigE Vision standard was defined.

AVT's Prosilica GC, GE, GS, GB and GX series of GigE cameras have joined AVT's Pike, Stingray, Guppy and other FireWire cameras in the familiar red AVT colour scheme, to complete the integration process.
