Instrument Systems sees record revenue growth

Instrument Systems, specialists in light measurement, has completed the 2007/2008 fiscal year with its highest revenue growth since the company was founded in 1986. Revenues increased by 22 per cent to €9.3 million, following on from €7.6 million in 2006/2007.

Instrument Systems delivers turnkey solutions for fast testing in production settings as well as for laboratory applications. Major manufacturers in the automobile and aviation industries use products from Instrument Systems in the qualification process for lighting components and displays used in the vehicle interior or aircraft cockpit.

Although there is considerable competition from Asia and the USA, the company has continued to expand its position as global market leader and generates 75 per cent of revenues abroad.

Company founder and president Richard Distl commented: 'We want to continue steady growth during the coming year and we will devote all our efforts to reaffirming the confidence that our customers place in us.'
