AVT welcomes its 100th employee

Allied Vision Technologies (AVT) has reached a milestone as it welcomes in its 100th employee. Jan Kuczora, 29, is the new production planner at the camera manufacturer's headquarters in Stadtroda, Germany. The industrial engineer from Jena, Germany began work at the company's recently upgraded offices on 1 March. In 2007, AVT expanded its German sites in Ahrensburg and Stadtroda and in the first quarter of 2008 hired more than 10 new employees. The company expects to expand further by hiring recent graduates and interns and also plans to offer a new training scheme in August.
