VC µ Check sensor

Share this on social media:

Vision Components has introduced the VC µ Check sensor, a complete solution for quality control tasks in semiconductor back-end manufacturing and other micro-assembly applications where very small components must be inspected. The system consists of an intelligent camera with a 700MHz processor and a computing power of 5,600 MIPS combined with a telecentric lens.

Various integrated lighting types can be chosen to fit the requirements of individual applications: standard options are telecentric or dark field illumination and dome illumination providing homogeneous diffuse incident light. The telecentric lens allows for the detection of objects without any perspective distortion, enabling users to greatly improve the measuring accuracy. With a maximum resolution of 5 Megapixels, the field of vision can be chosen between 7 x 11mm and 30 x 40mm.

All VC µ Check sensors feature a freely programmable 100Mb Ethernet interface that allows for live video output on a PC. Two digital inputs and four outputs facilitate integration into existing automation environments.

Measuring approximately 15.8 x 9.8 x 6.5cm, the housing is designed for use in semiconductor manufacturing machines. A dovetail profile enables quick and easy integration into existing machines.
