PerkinElmer Optoelectronics has released two new models of the SmartBlue line scan digital camera range, with resolutions of 512 or 1,024 pixels, and high data transmission rates of up to 40MHz.
Like all SmartBlue cameras, the new models come equipped with a Camera Link digital communication interface and maintain product noise immunity, precise linearity and high charge transfer efficiency. The cameras offer user-controllable pixel correction to compensate for non-uniformities in lighting and lens or CCD sensor variations. The cameras feature adjustable gain levels and real-time status LEDs. All of PerkinElmer's SmartBlue cameras incorporate Reticon photodiode arrays.
