Baumer has added to the MX camera series with ten new camera models. The series now features the USB 3.0 interface and cameras are available in either monochrome or colour with resolutions ranging from VGA to 4 megapixels. The cameras use Baumer GAPI SDK v.2.2 software, a Sony CCD and Cmosis sensors to capture motion at a rate of 160fps.

All models are certified in accordance with the new USB3 Vision standard, making them compatible with software libraries for industrial image processing such as NI LabView, MVTec Halcon or Matrox Imaging Library. The 28.5 x 28.5mm sensor head has an overall height of 8.2mm making it suitable for applications where space is limited, such as industrial image processing installations or medical and laboratory technology.
