Hyper-Cam NB

Telops, leader in the field of high performance infrared cameras and hyperspectral imaging systems for the defense and security, environmental, industrial and research markets, is pleased to announce the launch of its newest hyperspectral imaging camera, the Hyper-Cam NB. This narrow band hyperspectral imaging camera; adds a new kind of hyperspectral imaging sensor, with increased sensitivity, to the Hyper-Cam line of hyperspectral cameras. This expansion reinforces Telops’ position as a leader in the hyperspectral camera market.

Useful for geological, chemical and environmental research, this hyperspectral imaging camera offers many of the same features as the Hyper-Cam VLW but has been designed with a reduced spectral range, from 7.7 to 9.3 μm for added sensitivity. Potential applications include pollutant characterization such as volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), mineral research and characterization and volcanic research just to name a few.

“This very specialized, narrow band hyperspectral imaging camera follows the evolution of Telops’ product line helping scientists benefit from high performance, easy to use hyperspectral cameras tailored for their specific detection and identification applications“, says Martin Chamberland, Product Line Manager and CTO at Telops.

This highly sensitive, hyperspectral imaging, research camera is sure to be a welcome addition in any research project involved in the detection and identification of multiple substances .
