The FIRST infrared hyperspectral imager from Telops, which allows standoff chemical detection at a distance of up to 5km, has been upgraded and is available with a second-generation enclosure for increased reliability in the field. The instrument is completely sealed and conduction cooled.
The imager is available with the FTPro 2008 software featuring a faster viewfinder image calibration, greater operator feedback, and an improved user-friendly interface. The system allows undersampling in order to increase the datacube rate.
