Mikrotron has released the Eosens TS3 high-speed cameras. They can be operated wirelessly via the WiFi module, which allows control with handheld devices. The IRIG-B option makes it possible to synchronise multiple cameras worldwide using time data from GPS satellites.

There is optional SSD storage of up to 256GB available, stored via RAM, which allows the camera to record uninterrupted. The camera has a selection of recording times of 6.5 or 13 seconds, at rates of up to 500fps at 1,280 x 1,024 pixels, or more than 20,000 frames per second at reduced resolution.

The camera includes a 7-inch high-definition touch screen display, and control and steering of the camera is possible with Windows and Linux OS PCs or Mac via Gigabit Ethernet, or through the internet. The lens can be either C- or F-mounted.
