The Breuckmann StereoScan in conjunction with Aicon’s coordinate measuring machine DPA is ideal for automated 3D scanning. Measuring fields ranging from a few millimetres up to one metre are possible. The system is accurate to 0.1mm.
Combining these two systems with an object specific reference setup, a robot and a turntable, allows for fully automated high-precision inspection, even of large objects.
In addition to automated quality inspection, the highly precise measuring processes can also be employed to create a digital components archive.
Aicon’s photogrammetry ScanReference integrated into handheld Eva and Spider scanners from Artec also provides an ideal tool for measuring large objects.
