Prox Light series

Smart Vision Lights — a leading designer and manufacturer of high-brightness LED lights for industrial applications, including machine vision — is pleased to introduce its next generation of LED spotlights in its Prox Light® series for illuminating tight spaces in industrial applications. Designed for easy integration into any machine vision application, the new streamlined models feature no potting for a cleaner look, higher brightness, and are IP68 rated.

The new Prox Light series models include the SX30 Prox Light, ODSX30 Prox Light with OverDrive, SXA30 Prox Light, ODSXA30 Prox Light with OverDrive, SXP30 Prox Light, and the ODSXP30 Prox Light with OverDrive. All models are offered with a large assortment of optics for more focused illumination.

Additional features include larger heat-sink housings on the SXP30 and ODSXP30 models, making these lights significantly brighter. Also, the new OverDrive models are more than three times brighter than previous overdrive versions. The SXA30 and ODSXA30 models feature an adjustable sliding barrel that provides adjustable output.

The Prox Light series of spotlights features single 5W LEDs housed in small 30-mm barrels sensor housings.  The housings are industry-standard threaded-barrel M30x1.5 style used for proximity and photoelectric sensors. The lights are available in white, red, amber, blue, green cyan, IR, and UV light output. Like the entire line of Smart Vision Lights, the Prox Light series includes an integrated constant current driver inside every light, along with built-in strobe input with option for PNP or NPN trigger control. The integrated driver eliminates the need for wiring between the light and external driver and limits current to the LED while providing constant stable power. The light’s PNP or NPN strobe triggers control light pulse timing.

As with all Smart Vision Lights products, the Prox Light series comes with a universal internal driver for simplified wiring, fully complies with IEC eye safety standards, and comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty with product registration.
