NuPRO-E72

ADLINK Technology, a leading provider of building blocks and intelligent platform solutions, has announced the release of its latest workstation grade PICMG 1.3 System Host Board, the NuPRO-E72, supporting 4th generation Intel Xeon E3-1200 v3, Core i3, Pentium and Celeron processors in a LGA1150 package with DDR3 1600 memory up to 16GB with ECC support. Coupled with configurable native PCI Express x16 Gen3, PCI Express x4 and conventional PCI slots, NuPRO-E72 easily meets user requirements for workstation grade computing performance with flexible multiple native PCIe slots and expandable slot capability, making it an optimum motion and vision application-ready solution for industrial automation applications, such as AOI, PCB inspection and SMT industries.

Performance

ADLINK’s NuPRO-E72 supports the latest 4th generation Intel Xeon E3-1200 v3, Core i3, Pentium and Celeron processors in a LGA1150 package, improving on the previous generation with computing power increased as much as 23% and graphics performance up to 273%. Multiple native PCIe Gen3 expansion allows maximum data bandwidth for high-speed graphics cards, thereby directly benefiting multiple simultaneous complex motion and vision processes.

Scalability

ADLINK’s NuPRO-E72 provides a variety of expansion slots for flexible function enhancement and easier system integration, to meet the needs of industrial automation applications. Combined with optional WBP-13E4 backplane, the NuPRO-E72 is an optimum solution for automation environments requiring multiple native PCIe gen 3 slots in a 4U rackmount system. The one PCI Express x16 expansion slot can be configured as one PCI Express x8 and two PCI Express x4 Gen 3 slots for frame grabbers, digitizers, and high-resolution dynamic signal acquisition and generation modules, and one PCIe x4 Gen 2 and seven PCI slots for motion capture and I/O ports, for instant implementation of machine vision and industrial automation operations.
