MV1-D1280 camera

Photonfocus has introduced the MV1-D1280 camera series based on the e2v 1.3 megapixel CMOS image sensor. The camera offers a 1,280 x 1,024 pixel resolution at 60fps, 5.3µm pixel pitch, and monochrome, colour and NIR CMOS image sensors.

The NIR sensor features deep depletion photodiodes which give exceptional high quantum efficiency in the NIR spectrum. The MV1-D1280(C/I)-120-CL-10 models have a dual-tap Base Camera Link interface. The MV1-D1280(C/I)-120-G2-10 models feature a GigE interface and are GigE Vision and GenICam compatible. The new cameras are fully supported by Halcon11 and LabView drivers.

This camera series is also compatible with the e2v 2 megapixel CMOS image sensor, which features 1,600 x 1,200 pixels, 4.5µm pixel pitch, and monochrome and colour options. It is scheduled for release in September 2013. Models will include the MV1-D1600(C)-120-CL-10 with a Base Camera Link interface and the MV1-D1600(C)-120-G2-10 with a GigE Vision interface. The optical diagonal and the camera case are identical with the MV1-D1280 camera models, thereby enabling easy upgrades to higher resolutions.
