IQ-test system

Share this on social media:

Prime Vision has developed a test system that allows continuous monitoring of camera settings for noise, illumination, sharpness and colour consistency for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) cameras. It provides an early warning of problems, accurate troubleshooting and the objective analysis of camera performance.

The Prime Vision IQ-test system has been designed purposely for postal automation. It can be applied to a single camera system or employed to monitor and evaluate the comparative performance of several cameras. It can also contrast current and historic results.

The system immediately detects any detrimental effect from outside influences, such as dust and vibrations, so the appropriate remedial action can be taken. It also comprises a measurement program and a specially developed coloured test card as the reference image.
