Multipix Imaging now supplies new Grablink Camera Link frame grabbers from Euresys, which implement ECCO (Extended Camera Link Cable Operation). This feature allows Grablink Full, Dual Base and Base to go far beyond the Camera Link specifications in terms of speed and cable length.
Depending on the clock frequency and the quality of the cable, which can drastically vary from one cable to another, ECCO allows the new Grablink boards to operate with cable lengths in excess of 30 per cent, compared to those specified by the Camera Link standard.
