Fujinon HF-XA-1F lens series at UKIVA MVC show

FUJIFILM will be present at the Machine Vision Conference organized by UKIVA (United Kingdom Industrial Vision Association) in Milton Keynes, England, on April 28, 2022. The leading optical equipment manufacturer will showcase its industrial lens portfolio at booth #23, focusing on the new FUJINON HF-XA-1F series for demanding applications.

Heavy-duty lenses for demanding applications

Industrial machine vision applications often put optical lenses to a hard test as they are exposed a high level of shocks and vibrations. FUJIFILM has addressed this issue with the recently introduced FUJINON HF-XA-1F “heavy-duty” lens series that will be the highlight of the FUJIFILM exhibition at booth #23.

The FUJINON HF-XA-1F series not only features FUJIFILM’s popular Anti Shock & Vibration technology, but it also takes it one step further with a rugged mechanical design with no moving parts inside the lens. The focus is adjusted with the special C-mount and its nut and counter nut system. Users can adapt the iris to their needs by exchanging the screw-locked iris plate. This ensures the highest possible optical stability and durability, even under harsh conditions.

The new FUJINON HF-XA-1F series is suitable for image sensor sizes from 2/3” to 1/1.2” and resolutions up to 5 Megapixel resulting in 3.45µm pixel sizes, which is the core of the industrial machine vision market. It is available in five focal lengths ranging from 8mm to 35mm.

Technical presentation

Rob van der Spank, Manager CCTV and Machine Vision Sales at FUJIFILM Electronic Imaging Europe, will give a presentation on the optical challenges that come with shocks and vibrations and how the FUJINON HF-XA-1F overcomes them. The talk is part of the conference program at 15:00 in Theatre 2 Optics & Illumination.

“We look forward to welcoming the British machine vision community at our booth and our presentation in Milton Keynes”, he said. “We are thrilled to introduce our industrial heavy-duty lens series to the UK market”.
