EVT has released its EyeVision 3.0 software, with Asian language support and support for the Raspberry Pi processor. EyeVision 3.0 is equipped with a platform-independent user interface, running on Windows and Linux systems.
The Raspberry Pi processor with EyeVision 3.0 offers new possibilities for industrial machine vision. For example, this system in combination with USB cameras from The Imaging Source or IDS creates a low cost solution for image processing tasks such as object detection, pattern matching, measurement technology, code reading, OCR/ OCV, surface inspection, and contour detection, among others.
Programming within EyeVision 3.0 is via drag-and-drop functionality. The software offers new features, such as the possibility to create more than one camera viewer out of the different image memories. This means that the user has a clear overview of the inspection program.
