Share this on social media:

Alrad Imaging has introduced the e2v Aviiva EM1 line scan camera for industrial machine vision applications. The camera is easy to use, has a Gigabit Ethernet interface and is based on the latest generation of e2v sensors providing high electro optical and line rate performances.

An advanced GPIO is embedded (ensuring the camera meets with the latest GenICam standard), along with SNFC v1.2.1 in order to provide the necessary interconnections to deal with peripheral components such as trigger signal generators. A user-friendly software package is supplied, which includes iPORT PureGEV suite from Pleora as well as standard/high performance drivers.

Vision applications for the EM1 include web inspection, process control, print inspection, sorting, surface inspection, OCR and barcode reading.
