DS1-D1312 and MV1-D1312(I) cameras

Photonfocus has introduced the monochrome DS1-D1312 and MV1-D1312(I) cameras, with CameraLink interface; nine CMOS cameras based on the company's third generation CMOS imagers, A1312 and A1312I. The A1312 and A1312I image sensors are optimised for applications in the visible and NIR (up to 1,100nm). The MV1-D1312(I) camera series provides a high dynamic range of up to 120dB with LinLog technology. The cameras are equipped with a standard or an extended feature set, depending on the camera model and your vision application needs, while offering outstanding image quality.

The A1312(I) image sensor series is designed and fabricated in a 0.35µm CMOS technology optimised for image sensors to achieve high sensitivity and quantum efficiency. The resolution is 1,312 x 1,082 pixels, with 8 x 8µm square pixels, over 60 per cent fill factor and an extended spectral range covering 350nm to 1,100nm.

The DS1-D1312 and MV1-D1312(I) camera series deliver up to 110fps at full resolution. A further increase in speed to thousands of frames per second can be achieved by reducing the ROI (Region of Interest) through horizontal and vertical windowing. The fast global shutter provides sharp and smear free images even at high frame rates. To maximise sensitivity and avoid internal reflections and image artefacts, the cover glass on the new A1312 and A1312I image sensors can be removed.
