Basler to exhibit medical and life science cameras at Analytica

As the world-leading manufacturer of industrial digital cameras with dedicated products for Medical & Life Sciences applications, Basler AG will be an exhibitor at analytica in Munich from March 31 to April 3, 2020.

In line with its motto “We Help You Create Your Vision System”, Basler will present the latest camera lines: the Basler MED ace camera series with its MED Features Sets – which includes the latest Feature Set, Dust Protection, for special requirements in terms of cleanness. Additionally, Basler will introduce the boost bundle, consisting of the boost CXP-12 camera and CXP-12 interface card, which offers high bandwidths and requires only a low integration effort for the customer. For the first time, Basler will also present design-in samples of its dart board level camera with Sony’s IMX 334 and IMX 392 sensors and USB3 interface, which are optimal choices for embedded vision applications, thus offering an exclusive look at its product pipeline.

Peter Behringer, Head of Product Market Management Medical at Basler AG, explains what the trade show visitors can expect: “The requirements for cameras in the Medical & Life Sciences market are heterogeneous. From compact board level cameras for integration into point-of-care devices to high-performance 4K60 solutions for surgery – Basler’s product range perfectly meets all these requirements. This is why we are introducing two innovative products to our visitors this year. Selected Basler MED ace models were enhanced with the Dust Protection feature set. And if you need a high-performance embedded vision system, our new Basler dart models offer attractive solutions. The design-in samples of the dart cameras equipped with high-resolution Sony IMX sensors will celebrate their debut at analytica.”
