X-ray imaging company receives capital investment

Image Scan Holdings, a technology company specialising in portable X-ray devices, has received investment from Boundary Capital in order to grow the company.

The group’s core technology is based on stereoscopic and multiple view x-ray images. The company, based in Leicestershire, UK, has developed a range of advanced real-time x-ray screening systems with applications in both the security and industrial inspection markets. Image Scan Holdings’ main subsidiary is 3DX-ray.

Along with solutions for the security sector, the company also provides imaging technologies for industrial inspection, including on-line, batch and laboratory inspection systems. This range has been installed in industrial plants globally.
