Digital media artists KMA found a novel application of a Flir digital camera in an installation in Trafalgar Square this February.

The outdoor installation, Flock, inspired by Swan Lake, uses the Thermovision A20V to detect passers-by and illuminate ghostly dancers, taking them on a fantastical journey through physical space and the dancers’ virtual world. Every participant’s pathway was connected, giving a coordinated ballet of pedestrian performers.
