SVS-Vistek and Mikrotron merge within TKH group

SVS-Vistek and Mikrotron, both owned by TKH Vision, have merged to bring together their competencies in high-end camera technology.

The partnership is intended to open up new market segments and create the conditions for further growth, a statement from the two firms said.

The two companies will be located at SVS-Vistek's German headquarters and production site in Gilching, with Mikrotron cameras continuing to be developed, produced, distributed and supported under the Mikrotron brand by the expanded SVS-Vistek team.

The entity will have a combined workforce of 90 employees.

Founded in 1976, Mikrotron is a manufacturer of high-speed cameras and high-speed recording systems, used in industry and science as well as in sport. SVS-Vistek has been an established machine vision camera provider for 35 years. The new camera portfolio is expected to create synergies for the development and deployment of high-end cameras in particular.
