Conference features 20 presentations

Image Sensors' two-day conference, featuring two expert workshops and the new innovation platforms, is approaching fast.

The event, which will be held at the new venue Park Plaza Victoria, London from 19 to 21 March has scheduled 20 presentations, including 14 new expert speakers, covering a variety of latest issues and innovative image sensor topics.

Time-of-flight and 3D imaging will be a main focus of the first day. Paul Danini of Yole Developpement, said: '3D imaging/gesture recognition seems to be one of the top growth opportunities. The point is: how to make image sensors central in these emerging applications? How can it become a key enabling product?'

He added: 'In the consumer business, we will see image sensors with more functionalities that improve user experience.'
