Basler Vision Technologies has released its financial report for the first half of 2008. As in previous years, the Basler Components business unit showed very positive development. Turnover increased by 12 per cent to €14.9 million. Incoming orders reached €17.4 million, which represents a growth of 20 per cent compared to the same period last year. For the first half of the year, the segment's earnings before interest and taxes remained at the previous year's level of €2.0 million. The components business remains a growth driver within the Basler Group.
