Andries Hofman appointed CEO of Adimec

Adimec, a leading supplier of high-performance digital cameras and camera lens assemblies for use in machine vision, medical imaging, and defense imaging, has appointed Andries Hofman as its chief executive officer. Hofman took up the post on 1 February 2008.

Studying mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Delft and specialising in industrial organisations, Hofman began his career at Fokker in the aerospace industry, reaching the role of production manager. He then moved to Nefit Fasto, a producer of heater systems, where he was responsible for logistics. Prior to joining Adimec, Hofman was the senior director programme manager at ASML, one of the largest manufacturers of semiconductor equipment in the world.
