Adimec, a provider of industrial camera solutions, has joined the MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program.

MVTec Software, an international supplier of standard software for machine vision, started this programme in 2007 to provide the best possible integration of the image acquisition devices of its partners with MVTec software products like Halcon.

Halcon software from MVTec is designed for machine vision with an integrated development environment (IDE) that is used worldwide. It offers a large library of more than 1,800 operators for low-, medium-, and high-level image processing.

Halcon allows system designers to focus on the measurement algorithm and not on the operation of the camera.
