Chromasens announces upgrade to GenICam Camera Tool

Chromasens has announced an upgrade to its GenICam Camera Tool (GCT), a user interface for its line-scan cameras supporting the GenICam communication protocol.

In the new version, GCT2, Chromasens has added the allPIXA Alignment Adapter tool, which it says allows faster, more precise alignment of its allPIXA line-scan cameras.

The firm has also updated GCT's Image View feature so that it displays a 4-channel image output, horizontal line plot, and histogram.

Additionally, the DSNU/PRNU reference image creation process has been improved, enabling the quality of generated reference images to be measured for analysis, along with an updated dialogue feature.

The Chromasens GCT2 software is compatible with Windows and Linux.
