Scorpion Vision supports Ximea's Currera

Share this on social media:

Tordivel has extended its smart camera support for its Scorpion Vision software with Ximea's Currera. The Currera is an industrial IP67 camera, which with Scorpion Vision software creates a cost effective system to solve tasks within robot vision, label inspection, assembly verification, colour identification and gauging.

The combination of Scorpion Vision software and Ximea hardware provides an accurate and robust 3D machine vision system based on stereo vision. Currera-R is a complete x86 integrated with a sensor in one small IP67 protected body. A VGA monitor, keyboard and mouse can be connected to it for it to work like a common PC. Almost all applications that work on Windows XP can be run also on Currera-R.
