Intuitive robot programming alternatives to be shown at Automatica 2018

The International Federation of Robotics forecasts 1.7 million robots being installed in the world’s factories until 2020. One of the key challenges lies in their programming, i.e. teaching each robot exactly what to do. In times where software engineers are highly limited resources, the industry calls for new intuitive alternatives to traditional robot programming. Thus, Robotics expert Euclid Labs is inviting operators, developers and integrators of manufacturing equipment to an exclusive networking event showcasing the vision as well as a world-premiere of robot programming technology. It is going to take place on the first evening of automatica® trade fair 2018 in Munich. The agenda is online now and registration is open.

“The Future of Robot Programming” is one of the key networking events during the days of the world’s largest trade fair on manufacturing automation. Several hundred managers and thought leaders of this industry will take the exclusive opportunity to witness inspiring presentations and first-time demonstrations of a novel technology for robot programming.

The CEOs of Franka Emika (www.franka.de), winner of the German Future Award 2017, as well as ArtiMinds Robotics (www.artiminds.com), an innovator in codeless robot control, will present their vision on how to overcome the limits of traditional robot programming. Euclid Labs will demonstrate a highly intuitive and rapid approach to define sequences of movements and actions of robot arms without any programming skills for the very first time and only at this event.

The Kesselhaus, a former factory building and today one of the hippest event locations in Munich, puts the event in the right setting. Besides plenty of food for thought, the guests are invited to enjoy an exquisite gourmet buffet with local beer, Italian wine, and other refreshments.
