Forza Silicon has introduced the Forza 100+ MP CAM Platform which features a customisable CMOS image sensor operating at 60fps and supporting multiple camera resolutions.
The dual-mode camera operates in black and white or colour. It is well suited to surveillance applications and particularly useful for large-area image capture. With a proprietary onboard image processor, image sequences can be captured, downloaded, and configured to resolutions approaching 200 Megapixels while maintaining speeds of 60fps.
Due to the modular design of both the CMOS image sensor and electronics processing stacks, the array format, frame rate, and power dissipation can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of defence, aerospace, automotive, and medical imaging devices that require state-of-the-art imaging resolution and speed.
