Eltrotec Sensor has released a compact image processing system called eyeControl.
The system makes configuration and handling easy with the newly designed eyeControl operator software with graphic user interface and resolutions ranging from 640 x 480 to 1,600 x 1,200 pixels. Up to 250fps are being used in order to manage high processing speeds in case of assembly and test engineering tasks. RS 232/485 and Ethernet interface are used for data transfer to PLC-interface.
This system allows for implementing solutions with one or several cameras using black-and-white and colour. Eltrotec is offering training courses, implementing on site package solutions and also providing necessary support. This is especially true for complete image processing solutions in assembly and test engineering, as well as for attendance, completeness and measurement tasks. Data matrix and bar code reading and also high-end colour recognition tasks can be realised using this system.
Embedded vision cameras of the XP TAG series, including an internal PC and complete image processing functionality, are available for users wishing to realise image processing of their own (OEM tasks). Programming is possible via Windows XP, Vista or Linux and the cameras are provided with resolutions up to 1,200 x 1,600 pixels in either black-and-white or colour and are fully compatible with giga-ethernet.
