Vivid Engineering has released the CLT-353R and CLT-353L Camera Link translators. They enable the use of Camera Link cameras with frame grabbers incorporating traditional RS-422, supported by the CLT-353R, and LVDS, supported by the CLT-353L parallel digital interfaces.
The converters feature an RS-232 port for camera communication and are very useful for replacing obsolete RS-422 and LVDS cameras in existing imaging systems.
