Citus Imaging have released their Centurio C100 high speed camera. The C100 has a CMOS image sensor offering 1280 x 1024 resolution, and offers maximum recording speeds of more than 100,000 frames per second (at reduced resolution). Size and shape of the image area, exposure time and sensitivity are all easily adjustable. Citius' high speed cameras can be controlled using a regular laptop or a desktop PC, via a USB 2.0 connection. It is possible to operate up to eight cameras from one computer. Memory is placed inside the camera, allowing good recording speeds and long duration recording.

Citius Imaging software is delivered as a part of the standard camera package. Recordings are stored in the standard AVI file format.

The camera is protected by an aluminium body, making it suitable for harsh factory and testing environments.
