Multipix Imaging has introduced the Blade, the fastest digital video recorder (DVR) express unit in the market place by IO Industries. This DVR is small in size taking just 1U of rack space and has full remote control over Ethernet. The embedded system design with no internal hard disk ensures greater reliability and lower maintenance than PC-based DVR systems. Advanced features for these units include precision time-stamping of video frames in hardware, hardware trigger inputs/outputs with FPGA-controlled timing manipulation, audio recording, and meta-data recording over RS232.
Also launched is the Mobile, which is based on the 'Blade' technology but has been designed for ease of use in vehicles and aircraft.
