Photonics scientist uses remote sensing technology to improve crop monitoring

Dr Sergey Sergeyev of the Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies (AIPT) has received a £174,000 Royal Society Industry Fellowship grant to make crop monitoring cheaper and easier by improving polarimetric lidar to observe plants remotely.
