Communication of EMVA 1288 standard logo and compatibility of data sheets as now requires a new license, and the co-designing terms of the GenICam standard in the working group has been adjusted
The training will explore innovations in release 4.0 of EMVA 1288. It will take place from 3-5 May; the speaker is Prof. Dr. Bernd Jähne
The EMVA announced that the new release 4.0 of the EMVA 1288 standard for objective characterisation of industrial cameras, which is successfully used worldwide, has become effective
The European Machine Vision Association has announced release 4.0 of its 1288 standard for characterising industrial cameras
Prof Dr Bernd Jähne, chair of EMVA 1288 and senior professor at HCI, Heidelberg University, gives a preview of release 4.0 of the EMVA standard 1288
Participants will gain experience with EMVA 1288 standard measurements, using the required measuring equipment. They will learn the optimum setup, and how to analyse the results. The course is targeted to all who applies the EMVA 1288 standard, either in development or when testing and comparing cameras. The speaker is Prof. Dr. Bernd Jähne, a member of the EMVA board with many years of experience in teaching and education.
Framos, a global partner for vision technologies, is jointly hosting a two-day online training on the EMVA 1288 standard
The EMVA now offers a series of four free 30-minute webinars including interactive questions and answers on the EMVA 1288 standard
Comparing basic camera specifications such as frame rate, resolution and interface is easy. Comparing imaging performance of cameras such as quantum efficiency, temporal dark noise and saturation capacity is not. First we need to understand what these various measurements really mean. This white paper will address these questions and will explain how to compare and select cameras based on the imaging performance data following the EMVA1288 standard.
