Panasonic to showcase 4K POVCAM at RSE and Advanced Course for Rhinoplasty

Panasonic is set to showcase its latest 4K POVCAM technology at the RSE and Advanced Course for Rhinoplasty 2019 congress to the rhinoplasty surgery segment.

Both events will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, with the 8th Annual Meeting of Rhinoplasty Society of Europe taking place on the 8th April, and the 27th Advanced Course of Rhinoplasty taking place from the 9th-10th April, with this event featuring live surgical demonstrations.

With the focus being on the education of attendees for the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe, Panasonic Industrial Medical Vision (IMV) will showcase its latest vision technology to enable visitors to witness first-hand how the technology can support with accurate 4K pictures and precise images in a variety of applications such as the medical training education field.

In particular, Panasonic will display its POVCAM 4K recording systems, which incorporates a memory card portable recorder (AG-MDR25EJ) and a compact camera head (AG-MDC20GJ). The recording system is compliant with medical standards (IEC60601), and is capable of capturing high resolution 4K UHD images with a hybrid 5-axis image stabiliser and an adjustable image quality under surgical light.
