Point Grey will be showcasing its new series of GigE Vision-compliant products, featuring the latest global shutter CMOS technology and using 10 GigE’s high data rates to maximise sensor resolutions and frame rates. The first available model will be based on the Sony Pregius IMX253 1.1-inch CMOS sensor, offering 4,096 x 3,000 (12.3 megapixel) resolution and supporting 4K60 ultra-HD video.

The company will also introduce a new Blackfly S camera model based on a 20 megapixel Sony Exmor R IMX183 1-inch CMOS sensor. The Blackfly S camera family combines compact size (29 x 29 x 30mm), a comprehensive feature set, high frame rates and a diverse range of sensors.

The new Spinnaker SDK that will be presented at the trade fair introduces a number of tools to simplify and accelerate the creation of vision applications. The intuitive SpinView GUI integrates camera control and management software to optimise the user experience in evaluating new camera models and features, and allows for fast deployment of user controls.

A variety of other new products will also be shown, including high resolution, high performance Grasshopper3 camera models, 3D vision stereo technology, and Point Grey’s latest 360-degree spherical vision camera.
