Photonfocus will introduce two software-defined CMOS camera platforms based on the latest FPGA and interface technologies. The cameras are designed for use in the fields of high speed, high dynamic range (HDR) and hyperspectral imaging.

With these two new platforms and the existing MV1 camera platform, Photonfocus will be able to combine the latest demanding CMOS sensor technologies with real-time FPGA image processing. This is ideal for industrial and metrology applications ranging from HDR to ultra-low light conditions.

The 3D laser triangulation camera portfolio will also be extended with the addition of robust line finder technologies. Software supporting 3D applications as well as improvements to the spectral calibration process in hyperspectral imaging setups will be introduced. Additionally, Photonfocus will extend the spectral range coverage of its cameras by introducing a high speed VGA SWIR camera.
