Matrox Imaging
Matrox Imaging will showcase Design Assistant X, the latest edition of its flowchart-based vision application software, at both Automate (booth 8336) and the UKIVA Machine Vision conference. Matrox Design Assistant X integrates new tools, including those for image classification using deep learning, and a tool that highlights surface imperfections using photometric stereo techniques. The software can interface directly with third-party 3D sensors.
Demonstrations at both shows will highlight how these tools perform effective verification and inspection using a Matrox Iris GTR smart camera, and a Matrox 4Sight vision controller with a GigE Vision camera.
Also on display at Automate will be the company’s newest CoaXPress 2.0 frame grabber, the Matrox Rapixo CXP, which captures high-speed video using a CXP area scan camera, and is programmed using Matrox Imaging Library software. Two interactive stations at the Chicago event will feature the Matrox Vision Academy online training platform, MIL CoPilot and Matrox Design Assistant X software.
Matrox Imaging will also give a presentation at the UKIVA conference on training a deep neural network for machine vision.
