Members of the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) will form a panel of experts to discuss any topic related to industrial vision during the Instrumentation, Analysis and Testing Exhibition organised by the Engineering Integrity Society. The exhibition will take place on Tuesday 6 March 2012, at Silverstone Race Track, Northamptonshire, UK. The Vision Forum will run for an hour, commencing at 10.30am.
The panel will consist of Dr John Haddon, from Panther Vision (and technical consultant to UKIVA), Ian Alderton from Alrad Imaging, Simon Hickman from Multipix and Kyle Voosen from National Instruments UK and Ireland. Likely topics of discussion could include laboratory-based image processing, machine vision, lighting, lenses, software, cameras and electro-optics in general as well as measurements and 3D imaging.
This forum is a perfect opportunity for engineers and scientists to learn more about what can (and what can’t) be done with vision and the role the UKIVA plays in promoting its use, all in a friendly and informal atmosphere. There will be plenty of time for questions from the floor.
